Owners and Residents wishes for 2024

Welcome to the time of the year when you’re an extra shot away from going viral for doing the chicken dance at the office party. These are the days when buttons are loosened because it’s impossible to say no to another slice of mom’s pie. Tis the season when gathering around the tree, menorah, pesebre, or dining table reminds us how beautiful it is to see each other smile.

This is a time to celebrate with friends and family—but let’s be honest. It can also be a pain in the butt. Children screaming while Mariah Carey sings in the background, siblings arguing over who’s the best NFL team (Go Dolphins!), and wasting money on gym memberships that we most likely won’t renew, all while grandma nostalgically remembers when good challah bread was actually found in town…

We’ve been waiting all year for this moment; now is when we must wish for new things to get a fresh new start, so let’s take this opportunity to send good vibes and actively work towards improving the way we live (through new features in our app) and help you deliver what neighbors really want in 2023:

1. Better communication. Not just in terms of cordiality when it comes to bumping into your fellow association inhabitants, but also in the way we make decisions as a group. New Year’s resolution: say hello to each other in the elevator and use ONR’s community thread to jointly address situations that benefit us all.

2. Comfort. Our buildings should feel like a safe haven where we can rest and recharge, using common areas and amenities. To make sure you have space for yourself, make sure you use ONR’s booking tool to effortlessly reserve the gym, pool, cinema or meeting rooms.

3. Transparency and accountability. Knowing what’s going on in our buildings while giving neighbors a way to feel represented is paramount to efficient decision-making. From receiving notification alerts to being able to e-vote directly on their phones, owners and tenants will feel more secure about their voices being heard and making an impact in their community.

4. Value. Not just in the experience and quality of life offered by each association, but also in terms of home resale value. We all know that certain buildings have a better reputation than others, and it’s all thanks to good management.

Whether you believe in Santa or not, the list of things to successfully run an association is longer than his—but rest assured that with ONR’s new PowerAdmin 1.0 software (officially launching in January) communication, traceability, and peace of mind are on the table ready to pave the way for a wonderful 2023.

Our homes have become more than ever our safe havens; from now on, residents will demand hospitality-like experiences in their associations, living properties with great amenities, and high-end happenings managed by companies who are ready to provide services that were once reserved for luxury hotels and resorts.

Here’s to a bountiful holiday season!

Best wishes from the ONR team.
